I need to expand a volume in Windows 2003 where the following situation is in place.
I have 100Gb hard disk partitioned as follows:
c: (system) 10Gb
e: 50Gb
spare space 40Gb
The disk is configured as a basic windows disk.
I need to alocated the spare 40Gb to the e: making it a total 90Gb volume.
My problem is that diskpart seems to only work at the disk level (not the partition level) and this is the system disk so it can not be expanded.
