I have put together a computer that has one problem I haven’t been able to sort out. The computer is: Abit KG7+RAID MoBo, 1.4Gig Athlon Processor, 1Gig DDR, with Mirrored drives and running 2000 Server OS.
QUESTION:
The Explorer Mouse is erratic. Without warning it will switch between single click and double click to open folders. This is most troublesome when deleting email, because there are times it will delete one email when I press down and a second email when I let up on the key! Is there a special/different driver that is needed for 2000 Server? If there is I haven’t been able to find it. Or does this just sound like a defective Mouse? (This is a Mouse I’ve had for several years but it has never been used up until now so it’s basically brand new but may have shipped with an older driver).
