Whenever I open a folder and am in it for a little while it crashes. This is the following error code I receive.

I have reinstalled XP professional over my existing XP professional hoping to fill in any gaps. Also I have ran Ad-aware SE, Spybot, and Vundo Fix. This problem started when I installed the software for my new Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus. Please help? I don’t know alot about computers so please be patient with me.
