Exporting Access 2000 report to excel 20

By MarinaK ·
When I tried to export Access report to excel, the order of the columns was disturbed. How can I prevent this?

When creating an Access report you can alter the order of the columns from the order in the table or query that the report is based on. I do this often when I create reports to present the information in a more readable or logical format. Try exporting the query instead of the report. The columns should export to Excel in the same order as the query.

The first answer looks good to me. If that doesn't work, try something else. Hope this helps.
