Extend SOHO internet connection to mobile devices offsite.

Good Morning

I was wondering if it is possible to make use of my internet at home via a VPN on my cellphone even if I'm not near my house. Can one provide oneself with service like this? If so, how is it possible? Mobile Data is getting way to expensive.

No it is not possible

While you can use your home WiFi on your smart Phone to browse the Internet or even make phone calls you have to be in range of your WiFi to use it.

Once you are out of range you can not use it you need to use the Data on your Mobile Network which as you say is more expensive.

You can however tether to WiFi Hot Spots when you are away from home though you may be open to Data Thieft or Infections using this type of thing.
