Having upgraded to a new firewall and now having the correct skills to support it. More and more areas of the business are wishing to use VPN’s, PC Anywhere and all sorts of applications through it.
Obviously there must be a risk assessment and business requirement. But how do other organisations manage the hodgepodge of requests?
How do you control this and ensure that the environment does not get overly complex?
What factors need to be considered in the risk assessment?
Hope this is not too general but id like to get a feel for how other companies do this. (or any good links)
