External connection to NT4.0 network

By agyedu.md ·
Tring to copy large files stored in non-USB NT 4.0 (service pack 6)network computer. Tried unsuccesfully with external parallel Zip Drive. Network will not assign Zip Drive letter after driver installation. Any ideas on how to make the Zip Drive work or any alternate connection?

unfortunately you didn't specify which zip drive you were using.

Here's the link for iomega's zip drive 100.
Why is there no drive letter assigned to my Zip? parallel port drive in Windows NT? 4.0?

If it's not that one specificall, you can try

Installed ones a external cd-writer (hp), only thing I needed was the right driver.

Why not install the external zip to a Win98 or other friendlier workstation and share it?
