I am trying to connect an advent 7113 to a samsung tv to show presentations by using the vga port on the laptop. However when I do this the tv displays a black screen. It works fine when I use s video but as I am wanting to use 1:1 pixel mapping I have to use the vga port.
When I press source on the television the image of my desktop flashes up for less than a second before returning to a black screen again.
I used a laptop with windows xp and it all worked fine. So I assume this is maybe something to do with Windows vista.
Any ideas?
