External DVD-ram problem

By pebblerelena ·
My IBM external USB dvd writer is refusing to "settle down". After plugging it in my USB port, it just attempts to read then several times before stopping and the process just loops. Sometimes it "stabalizes" when I tilt it on a specific angle. It would be such a bummer if it needed replacement already since this device is just barely a month old.

Faulty DVD-RAM Drive

What's the problem? If the drive is a month old return it for replacement. If there was another problem, (Dropped, Squashed, Wrong adapter) then no one can help you. No drama.

Shouldn't be behaving like. It should work in it's designed position without any fussing with it. Request a replacement/send it in under warranty, or return it for a refund.
