I am assuming you have already chosen SAP as your software platform and are currently looking for and implementation strategist/team. If so then below should answer your question, or at least get you off to a good start. If you are however looking for information how to actually choose the software platform as well, that is a completely different matter and needs to be addressed as such. If so, please clarify....

1. How long have they been providing implementation? No less than 3-5 years.

2. How much of that work has involved implementations in clients that have direct Tier 1 supply requirements? Actual and Percentage.

3. Do they handle EDI implementation or is that handed off to a third party?

4. What is successful implementation rate? List of successful implementations and contacts. List of failed implementations and contacts. (If the are not honest here, regardless of how good they look, run....)

5. What is their implementation strategy and how far beyond day 1 does support/assistance extend.

6. What other ERP's do they perform implementations for? Generally the more diverse the installation base the shallower the knowledge and experience pool.

7. Projected timelines for your company by #employees, locations, departments, net rev, gross inventory by project?
