i have a 12 year old dell and i want to buy a 320gb ext hhd but am not sure if the dell will run it ……i read a short article that was not specific that said something about making sure that the hhd matches the pc and i did not understand i thought i could use any ext hhd on any pc that has usb any way i want to use the ext hhd to store and run my kraoke songs through the dell (home use)
