I’ve recently bought a Maxtor ext hard drive. When I connect it by USB it clears my desktop of all icons. When I disconnect it everything comes back to normal. I originally thought it was my Firewall protection blocking it but it does the same if the Firewall protection if off. Help would be gratefully appreciated.
