I’m hoping someone can help me.
I have a 250GB Lacie External Hard Drive which is connected to my pc via USB although it has firewire ports also.
Everything was working fine this morning but, when I came home, it is not recognised although the drive is powered up. I’ve tried different USB cables in case the first one had developed a fault. This PC doesn’t have any firewire ports to test though.
I’ve tried this on a different pc via the USB connection and the exact same thing happened on that one. However, this PC has a firewire port so I tried with that and it works.
Can anyone please suggest what the problem is and how I could resolve it? I’d appreciate any possible solutions.
