The basics of my problem are as follows:
I went to bed last night downloading a video to my external hard drive and when i woke up my external hard drive was what appears to be unformatted and it wouldn’t let me open it saying “access denied”. When I go into the properties it says that there is 0 files and 0 GB on it. I have a maxtor onetouch 750GB hard drive with at least 550GB on it already and I’d prefer not to have to find all those files again but as of right now it seems to be my only option.
