Hey dudes.
My External Hard Drive isn’t working anymore, to say the just of it.
It’s on, lights on(not flashing, it flashes when it’s being written to or accessed), usually has a regular clicking noise from it (kind of quiet). When plugged in, Computer Management>Storage DOES NOT detect it. Although my computer has the “hardware detected” sound happen and then 1 minute later “hardware disconnected” sound. My system tray reads “USB Mass Storage Device” and when I unplug or turn off the Hard drive the safely remove hardware icon disappears.
I have all my work files on this unit and it is seriously important that I get these files back.
I thought you guys could help, suggestions?
