Extract user info from AD

By dsaid ·
How can I extract user information from the active directory?
I need the user name and password from the active directory. I want to use a RADIUS Server for authentication (Multitech RADIUS Server). Your help is highly appreciated.

Ok, getting the username is easy. The password is another matter entirely.
The password is only stored in the MD5 hash (2 pieces of 7 hashed characters), so you can't just export out the password in clear text. You need to unhash it. And that takes a while.
Tools like PWDUMP3 can extract the usernames and the password hashes from a Windows domain controller (NT4/Win2K/Win2k3) providing you have Administrator rights to the DC. Now, the old website to get PWDUMP3 used to be at:
But the site is no longer available, so you will have to track it down, but you can find it!

YOu can then run the hashes through tools like LC4 (formerly L0phtCrack) from
to bruteforce the hashes back into text.

THEN you will have the usernames/passwords for your RADIUS server.

Good luck.
