I have a laptop that caught a nasty virus. I pulled the hard drive out and put it into an external enclosure and turned it into an external hard drive. The problem is that I need to extract software keys so I can rebuild this laptop. I’ve used Belarc Advisor to get the software keys on a running laptop, but not on an external hard drive. Any ideas?
