We have started using the EZ Swap EX by VANTEC for some of our customer back-up systems. Though we have run into a few problems with either formating the drive or swaping them in and out - they tend to freeze up or give us the "blue dump" screen only some seem to work with no flakey malfunctions. We have recently abandoned using the onboard sata contoller and went with the SATA II-150 PCI controller card which seemed to be formating the drives faster but still had some flakeyness when it came to reading all the drivers correctly - either it be freezing the bus or going to the blue dump screen. Our only guess is that the 2.5" internal/external HDD Enclosure has a inconsistence in reading the 120GB laptop drive we use. If anyone has ran into this problem and found an answer or even any ideas on why we would be running into problems with only select few drives. I would appreciate it. Than You!
