Hello. I am a student of one IT faculty in croatia. I have to make a study for real project of virtualisation on my faculty. We have about 2300 students. My question would be what kind of hardware (read:server) do we need to implement VI. Since, we have a unix server we use for “operating systems” practicum, and the problem comes when students write their programs such as forking processes etc. More than once someone knocked down the server with infinite fork loop etc…
For that, and lot of other reasons we decided to help our Faculty and make study about implementing VI3.
So we want to know what would be best solution for implementation of that kind of infrastructure? I mean in invested/given way…
