Failed to Load PiracyProtectorOCx from

By Cesarmcp ·
The following error occurs when I first start my computer with Windows XP.

"Failed to Load PiracyProtectorOCx from. Your version may be outdated. Make sure that you are using the version of the control that was provided with your application."

I already runned my anti-virus and spyware killers but they could not detected any thing "unsual".

Have any one seen this? How did you got ride of it, short of reformating the Hard drive or restoring from Back up?

Cesar

It appears that you may have a program installed called Privacy Protector? Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it. If you do not have this program, have you installed anything recently? If so, one of them may be the culprit.
Also, just to remove the error, you can try using msconfig and removing things from your startup group (un-needed things). I would start with any privacy software, or anything that cleans out your registry, history, etc.

No such program installed. I've also tried looking at MSConfig to see if this could be removed from there, no luck. and I already got and have used more anti-spyware, pop up remover than the average Joe.
