fatal error...

By j_o_blair ·
Has anyone seen the following?
"Fatal Error: [NOCREATE]RWFactory: No Create Function for Classwith ID 1115 (0x45b)"

I tried the kb, but no joy.

I'm running XPpro, connecting to a Novell Print queue. The printer is visible off of the server, but any attempt to print, or display properties generates the above. Further, I could not delete the printer.

The printer is an HP8150dn. I've also got the latest drivers.
Thoughts?

That's a Rogue Wave error message from their tools.h library. Some piece of software you are using has an error, either the driver or your OS itself.

See http://www.tacc.utexas.edu/resources/user_guides/crayc++tools/toolsug/cme_8073.htm
(remove spaces from pasted url)
for the messages.

This is a library for C programming. I'll assume it's the driver causing the problem, since drivers are often written in C. Are you sure that printer is compatible with XP?

Look at this article : Q270027. This is aknown issue with this printer range from HP. If you are not using any of the product spesific features here you should go with the HP4L (PS) or the 4000 series (PS). Remeber to remove your 8000 series drive.
