Currently I’m running Windows 98 on a V2 Premier computer. Last week my computer flashed a fatal warning message; however, I did not copy down the specifics associated with the warning. The warning indicated I could “press any key to continue”; which I did. At once ALL the words, pictures, graphics, toolbars & windows, on the computer screen, became extremely large. The large size of the graphics reduced the number of icons viewable on my desktop display from 36 to approx 15. Also, when I openspecific windows, such as “Control Panel, Display” or try to “Print”, the largness of the window is sufficient to cut off the bottom of the windows so that it is impossible to see and/or press the “OK” button. Most of the time I have to reduce the “Taskbar” at the bottom of the desktop display to a point that it is not seen in order to view a workable portion of any item on the computer screen. I have changed all icon sizes to “small” and have performed “Disk Cleanup”, “Disk Scan” & “Disk Defragmentation”; none of these actions have corrected the problem. I’ve been led to believe the “VIDEO CARD” in my computer is bad or has malfunctioned! I need assistance in diagnosing this problem and determining a fix and/or corrective action.
