Fatal Exception error OE

I am getting a fatel exception error OE 0028:c0277001 in vxd vredir(03) + 00002001. This was called from 0028:c0078164 in vxd vredir(01) 00007334.
Any help? Also my microsoft office programs are locking up – expecially when closing.
I have performed a virus scan – McAfee – with the newest virus info. AMD 700 w/128 mem 20 gi hd
