On boot of a Win98 PC I receive the following exception messages:
“An exception occured at 0028:00000015 in VxD —. Called from 0028:C023AC79 in VxD —. It may be possible to continue.”
Pressing any key continues the loading process, then another fatal exception “A fatal exception has occurre at 0E at 0147:00006935 The current application (Win98) will be terminated.” Pressing any key at this point halts the load process and freezes the PC.
This PC will only boot to Safe Mode.
Has anyone ever run across this problem?
