fault tolerance on Visual SourceSafe

Hi,

Is there any solution for fault tolerance on Visual SourceSafe other then the hardware
being Raid 5???
I was told Network Loading Balancing would not work and Visual SourceSafe is not effective on it.

Can you use Shadowing as a form of fault tolerance is the VSS server crashes???
