So basically got a new mac book pro 13inch retina a month ago. Working perfectly then yesterday after coming out of the shower got a couple of small drips on the keyboard. Wiped them off quickly but within a few minutes thing shut down. Kept trying to start it up would go on for a minute then dialogue box saying you wanna shut down? comes up and it would.
Now I realized if I hold down the power button it works perfectly, but as soon as I realise the power button it crashes. I'm so annoyed by this because if it is the water that means macs are ridiculously sensitive to a couple of drops, like would you think twice about it if your wet hair just dripped a bit on the computer?
Anyway thanks for any answer advising what the cause was and what to do next
