I recently installed 2000 on a new disk,but I think my mistake was having my machine connected to an active network.
Now windows won’t start after the sign on/password box.
It won’t even let me start in safe mode-command prompt to format.
The error is domain doesn’t exist and check with the administrator-there is no one!
Can anyone help? Or is this HDD dead?
