Faulty Windows Manual

I have a clients system that had the magistr virus on it and it corrupted a good share of the windows system files. I have looked at the system and told them their best option is to format it and start over from scratch, to be sure that theentire virus is gone. They are fine with that except that all of their backup’s are bad and they need to preform another before we format the system. So I have begun to install windows (95) on top of it self to restore it, but it will not take the key. I am positive that this manaul came with this cd. Can anybody help me.
