I would like to know a way of receiving fax on a fax machine and have it delivered as an email attachment to a public folder.
I’ve tried this with Esker’s Vsifax software, and, while it works, there were too many points of failure for production use. The best thing is to receive the fax on a true fax machine then, have that fax machine send the email.
I currently use a Panasonic UF-8000 fax machine which supports multiple lines and does have an add-on module for email to fax, scan to fax, etc. but I don’t know if it has fax to email capability (should be very similar to scan to email).
I am contacting vendors to find this out but I am open to other suggestions (even new fax machines that can do this).
