I recently started as a tech support specialist for a small company. I replaced one of a two man team. Last week my co-worker quit, so I’m stuck picking up the ball and doing my best to run things.
The problem I’m having is with FaxPress. Anytime the connection between the Exchange server and the Faxpress server goes down, I have to go through a series of steps to retsart everything. That part I have down pat.
The real problem is that while the connection is down, if any faxes come in, they remain in a user’s Faxpress “inbox” but fail to move to the Exchange server and then into the proper mailbox.
I saw my co-worker doing some moving of files, but he was very tight lipped and didn’t fill me in on this before he left.
If anybody knows the procedure, I’d be very happy if you could fill me in. Thanks
