I have HAD IT WITH Profiles! I seem to be going in circles with setting up Windows 2000 profiles. Can anyone recommend a Non-Microsoft oriented Profile Know-It-All web site? with the works of FAQs and HOWtos and explanations why profiles are difficult within Windows 2000 Pro.
The Problems I have been having are setting up users on WIn 2000 that previously used Win9X or Win NT. I get all the usual “Profile not Found”, “Roaming Profile Not Found” type messages. Every once in a while, I get lucky, and it seems that when the profile is “roaming’, it acts fine. All PDCs and BDCs of this LAN are Windows NT 4.0 Server. Does this have something to do with it?
I can not simply log a established NT domain user into a newly created Windows 2000 machine without a lot of headaches. Please Help me if you can. Very much appreciated.
