It looks like WEP is all wet. 802.11i has the nod as the de-facto security standard for Wi-Fi. The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) standards board recently ruled the current version of the 802.11i specification is reliable enough to become an industry standard. What does this mean for all those WEP protected 802.11b units sitting on your network?
