Before I start, let me say that I know I’m leaving myself wide open for possible payback from the fairer members of this site, but it is a question that has bothered me for many years.
Why is it, when packing for a 3 day trip, a male can get EVERYTHING into a small duffel bag (neatly folded and wrinkle free) that can be a carry-on on an airliner.
A female, on the other hand, packs more for a 3 day trip than I did for a 7 month posting in the middle east. SWMBO took 2 suitcases and a carry-on for 3 days, containing at least 10 outfits, 6 pairs of shoes, and don’t even get me started on the makeup bag.
She doesn’t worry about numbers or weight…..I’m the one who ends up schlepping it all over the place, getting a hernia.
If anyone can answer this, not only will I be most appreciative, but there’s probably a Nobel Prize (for Physics) in it somewhere.
