Can anyone tell me if my Ethernet Link Error rate on a fiber link between two 3com Superstack II switches is unusually high. I have been monitoring it using the 3com switch software and there have been 31 occurrences in 1 day of over 5% error frames. The fiber link is working but some of the W98 clients can only log on the network after the 2nd or 3rd attempt. Is this indicative of a problem in the fiber or the switch? I can’t find anything wrong with the configuration on the W2000 server.
