I am building our IT infrastructure and I am having trouble figuring out some of the fiber modules etc.
On an Nortel Accelar switch I have the option of an 8 port Gigabit switch with GBICS, what is that?? I realize it is some kind of an adapter.
SC is a connector
ST is a connector
What is LX, and SX???
I have a multimode Fiber backbone with ST and SC connectors. What kind of patch cables will i need for each type of fiber?
