I missed the boat on getting one of the Field Manual on USB Memory Stick offers from the bookstore. It sounds like such a good idea that I would like to replicate it on a memory device of my own.
Did any of you reading this happen to get one of the Field Manuals? If so, can you discuss what software was on it?
If the software on that device is not directly available what other utilities would any of you put on a plug-in memory device that would provide the same functions as what was on that device?
For that matter, if you were to put together your own portable package or device for troubleshooting, what software would you put on it?
This may need to take into account that some of the machines I might want to use a USB device on may not be able to be set up to boot from a USB port.
