Hi,
I created a group on our win2000 server to include all users except the school nurse, who does not need access to most files. I included in this group the administrator account and all individual accounts that would need access to these files.So instead of adding each account seperately to the security properties of the folder, I would just need add that group. Sound simple enough? Well, turns out I somehow left the access of the group as ‘Read & Execute’ only. So now when I go into the security properties of the folder, the Add and Remove buttons are greyed out and I can’t apply Full Control. Therefore, no one can modify(move, delete, rename, etc)the files in this folder. The folder is full of important files. Does anyone have a suggestion to get around this? Please help!
