In December I installed a new scanner I bought at Radio Shack. However, when I installed the scanner programs something
Happened to my pictures file associations. Before, all the animated gifs, etc were visible and could easily be applied to whatever I was using (E-Mail, Word, etc.).
For some strange reason, all the gifs were taken out and replaced by
long coded numbers. It took me quite some time to figure out what
numbers went with what pictures, and then I had to rename them. At
least I can read the names and insert what I want. However, not all
the pictures are available as they are kept in a separate folder and
can only be used as attachments, which just about ruins my ability
to use them where I want in the body content of a message. My
brother Jack thinks there is a way in which the original format can
be brought back, but he does not know the specifics or how to write the proper instructions.
For whatever reason, the newly installed program overrode the
Existing program. I thought you might be able to help me out on this. I
believe the name of the installed program was Print Manager, or something like that.
