Can anybody help me with this.
I am using xp home with 2gb ram and 200gb sata drive
When i click on any media file i always get asked what program to use.
I tell the system what program (windows media player)and tick the “always use” box then the file plays ok.
when i try to play another file i get the same problem.
I have reinstalled WMP.
another desktop on the same computer plays them ok.
i have tried copying the setting from the other desktop but it made no difference.
other files (txt, doc, jpg, bmp, etc) open ok.
Can anyone help before i tear all my hair out.
