File associations in win2k server

By t_bonee ·
Hi all,

I want to change some file associations on a win2k server running terminal services. When I go to folder options and try to change the associations, all the buttons are grayed out. This is on the domain and on the local machine. I logged in as admin both ways.

Is this a security setting? I looked through local and domain security and didn't see anything. How can I go about getting access to change the file associations?

Thanks,

See KB 257592. This KB article addresses the File Association features in windows 2000 and provides the Resistry location. I hope this helps?
