File dates on server changing

By cswearingen ·
We are running a Novell 5 server. Yesterday we noticed that several hundred commonly used files suddenly had the date of 1-Jan-1985 instead of the current date.

Has anyone heard of any virus/trojan/worm or bug that can cause this to happen?

We have scanned the server with McAffee and it came back clean.

Thanks,

Christopher

Sorry I didn't see your reply. I never got a notification that there was a reply to my post.

The server is a new Compaq Proliant. The bios date is fine. For some reason just the dates on some of the files changed. Since I posted this we haven't had any further problems with this issue.

Bizzarre.
