I am currently trying to run an application located on an NT4.0 server on a Win2K client and cannot get the app to “finish” loading. The client CPU usage sits at 100% and the app never appears in Task Manager application window, but just shows itself to be “eating up time” in the process window. Using the filemon utility from SysInternals shows an IRP_MJ_QUERY_VOLUME_INFORMATION… BUFFER OVERFLOW FileFsVolumeInfomation and repeated “Mounted” errors as INVALID PARAMETER when I attempt to run the application. Anyone know what’s going on here?
