I have a client that has files showing up in folders with a username and a version type indicator appended. For example:
“CUSTOMER”
“CUSTOMER (PaulJ v1)”
This is causing havoc in program execution as the wrong file is being seen and opened by the program. What would be creating this file with long file name? I’ve tried getting the new “Copy, but keep both files” in Vista and Win7 to do it but all I get when using that is a file name like “CUSTOMER (2)”.
Any and all help appreciated in figuring this out.
