File Replication Service does not work but no error

by broekel . Updated 19 years ago

I have 3 Servers 2003 Enterprise.
Some time ago I started to install DFS and built 5 trees.
so we have now:
\\…\tree1
until \\…\ Tree5
Also 1 played with FRS but before release 2. I think it was not usable.
Now I installed R2 and tested it. It worked fine.
So I started it in our running enviroment. Now I have the following Problem.
Under Administrative Tools DFS Management we habe under Namespaces our old trees. They are working fine.
Under Replication we set up a Replication “Projects”.
There I have entered 1 Server (source-Folder= “Projectfolder”)
and for the 2nd Server (destination-folder=”Projects”)
Now the Problem:
On Server 1 (Source) I have under Projectfolder 2 Folders “old Projects” and “new Projects”.
The folder “old Projects” replicates without any problem but “new Projects” does not replicate”.

It looks like as if New Projects does not exist. I found no error under the event log
and when I create a diagnostic Report with “DFS Management” the number of Files is different but no error only 1 warning ( Disk on server 1 will run in low disk space…).
When I create a new folder and put some data in it, it will be replicated at once.
