file system error

Hi, on my network folder I have got a file or something. It is a file which is 94 kb’s in size and when I try to delete it, I am not allowed to delete it. It comes up with a message that says:- Cannot delete file:- file system error(1026).Now I wantto get rid of it because it is annoying me. Regards Dave
