Files copied in to pen drive are deleted/disappeared?.

By robins_mca ·
Dear friends.. Recently I have copied (I used CTRL+X to do this) some files in to my pen drive (Kingston 1GB) and after some time when I checked my drive, there was nothing? What happened to my copied files?? And again i tried to copy some files in to pen drive and then i got the error message that there is no destination drive available...!!! Then I checked the drive properties and it showed used space as 0 and available space as 0. SI it because of any viruses...? Please suggest me an option to recover my files..

New Drive?

Is this a new drive, and have you used it before?

If it's a new one it might be faulty.

Pen drive issue

Is it connecting via MTP or MSC? Some portable storage drives can support both method, while some OS's only support one. Try the settings on the pen drive, verify that it is set for mtp and try again.
