I am trying to get the best option for archiving/filing project files on 1 server that will hold files and email together. With a lot of Word, PDF and DWG files along with endless emails it is near impossible to come up with a solution to put these together in a searchable manner. the problem is really the email – storing email on the file server looses it sender information in a view in explorer. So it only holds it filing date – so if you file weekly then you look at 100’s of email for that week. Anybody have a solution?
