Filterkeys, must reinstall Windows to fix?

By cccarloslanda ·
Hi all,

I am working on an XP machine that was fine until Filterkeys was accidentally activated; the computer became erratic and slow. Deactivating every feature from Control Panel/Accessibility, using System Restore, and clearing everything from msconfig/Startup did not help. The computer runs fine in Safe Mode. The only alternative seems to be reinstalling Windows; is there anything else to try?

about where to post, I will re-post to the Questions section.

The link you indicated tells how to disable Accessibility Options. I've done that already. My problem is that after clearing every Accessibility option, still the computer is screwed up.
