Finally wiping O2K left my IE5 short

by superbat . Updated 25 years, 10 months ago

Trials & tribulations of trying to get rid of O2k. After finally getting rid of most of the traces of O2k with the MS O2K eraser, I found the reloaded Outlook97 would not work, ’cause O2K changed the mail setup. Got that fixed by changing Mail settings back to mspst32.dll, but now noticed that IE5 is short on fonts, ’cause O2k eraser erased fonts it was using. IE5 doesn’t complain, but it’s almost unreadable for a few fonts. Anyone got an Idea how to recover here?
It thinks it has all the latest, cause that’s what the record of updates says. If you think that there are no problems with O2k, just try to get rid of it on a test machine… Just an experiment to learn from
