Find a sound driver

What you have there sounds like a Modem and not a Sound card as such. The modem has a "Wave" port that can allow for voice message or even talking over through a microphone into your Modem, almost like a normal telephone. Best bet, have a look at the model number and search for it. There are many manufacturers that used the HSP56 chipset. They were called micromodems. I know HP made one and PCTel. go to yahoo.com and type in HSP56 and find the closest match to your modem

"HSP56" on driverguide.com brings up a lot of "micromodems" (as referred in the other post). Some of these are also listed as "AMR" (audio Modem riser). You will need to identify the brand, likely the model, and certainly the O/S to pick up the driver there.
